Mobi Exercise Equipment

by admin on January 13, 2011

There are many different types of mobi exercise equipment. They range from small, cheap and simple to expensive and more ellborate.

My favourite piece of mobi exercise equipment is a pair of running shoes. Running shoes can go anywhere. They are inexpensive, once you purchase a pair you don’t have to keep paying a subscription or membership fee. They are simple all you need to do is put them on and go out for a run. It can be done practicialy anywhere.

One of my other favoutie pieces of mobi exercise equipment is the bike. While the bike is a bit more bulky and is not as easily transportable. It is one piece of exercise equipment will literaly take you places. One thing you can do is ditch your car and ride to work. You will save money, get fit, be motivated/forced to exercise.

If you want mobile weight training that is a bit more difficult. You can’t just chuck your free weights in you suit case and travel around. Resistance band exercises maybe the solution for you. They are rubber tubes that can collapse in to a small carry bag. They are can easily be set up on doors or hand rails. While not as good as free weights you would be surprised at how versatile they can be.

If you are a true gym junky and can’t live with out pumping some iron. Just visit a gym and pay the casual rate. While it may be quite expensive compared to local/home gym it will be saving you considerable hassle.

Another excellent piece of mobi exercise equipment is a pair of swimming trunks. Swimming is world wide sport. It is very cheap to find a pool and go for a swim. If you are in warm place you can save your money and just head down to the beach. Swimming is an excellent full body workout and its availability makes it an excellent exercise for travelers.

One of the other pieces of mobile exercise equipment that I love is the swiss ball. When the ball is pumped up it is not that portable. However they are very easy to inflate you only need a small pump and only take seconds to deflate. There are loads of different exercises you can do using a swiss ball. It is the “swiss army knife” of exercise equipment.

The last piece of mobi exercise equipment I am going to mention is the yoga mat. There are yoga studios thousands of locations around the world. It is very easy to pop in to one of these for casual workout. Most of the time you will not even need to bring your own mat. If you have some yoga experience you don’t even need to go to a studio. Just clear some space and practice your yoga poses at home.

There are many different options for mobi exercise equipment. Just because you are traveling or out of town does not give you an excuse to get behind in your workout routine. Think of it as an opportunity to break out of what you normally do and mix up your workouts a bit.

Set goals

If you don’t know where you are going, how will you know when you get there? Setting short-term and long-term goals may increase your chance of success. Your goals must give a clear picture of the end-point to work towards. Use the SMART model, your goal should be Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bound. Without these you’ll never know if you have achieved the goal. You can’t just say “lose weight or gain energy.” Instead say, “I will lose 10 pounds in 12 weeks by doing strength training 3 times a week and cardio 3 times a week.”
